Personal Training in Oxford by Griffin.Fit

As a fully qualified PT, specialising in strength and conditioning, I offer private personal training for 1:1 sessions, as well as small group training, from my private Oxford gym.

WHY HIRE A PT?

People choose to seek help with a trainer for many reasons. I often ask people why they want a trainer, and they say to lose weight, to get stronger, etc. Then I ask them why this is important to them, and the true “why” appears.

Some people like the confidence, energy, or recognition for their efforts. Others need the accountability of somebody checking their progress, or the push that takes them beyond the level they would reach from training alone. Whatever the reason is, a trainer is your guide and mentor along the way.

A PT’s job is to focus on good form and technique with properly designed programming in order to develop your strength, fitness, mobility and stamina with the aim of improving your quality of life whether it be:

  • Fat loss

  • Muscle gain

  • Pain reduction

  • Fitness for events

  • Any reason that requires physical improvement

MY APPROACH AS YOUR PT

Building a rapport between a coach/PT and the client is of paramount importance. People can grow their physical ability, strength, and exercise capacity in ways that they simply often do not achieve by going it alone.

I pride myself on getting to know each and every person that walks through my door. From the nervous gym newbie to the de-motivated peri-menopausal woman, people with muscle imbalances and exercise fears from historic injuries, and the retired but young at heart not ready to go sit quietly in the corner and watch the world go by.
